Learning new vocabulary allows students to:
read written texts and look for meaning
listen to texts and respond to show understanding
create their own texts for speaking and reading
We have been experimenting with VOKI, an online tool which enables you to create your own avatar and either by typing text or recording your own voice, bring it to life.
Here are a couple of examples created by typing text to show an understanding of vocabulary covered this term. Students were required to use sentence structures we have learned to express their opinions, that is which sports and hobbies they like and dislike.
